Every three years, tissue from select fish species are collected during fish community surveys and submitted for mercury content analysis. As CAMP is an ecosystem monitoring program, it does not analyze mercury in fish data in relation to human health. Data collected through CAMP is made available to the relevant experts and authorities for human health analysis.
